World Challenge offers pupils the unique opportunity to travel to a destination across the other side of the world and experience a whole new culture. Pupil’s take responsibility from the very start of the expedition by planning their own Itinerary including their acclimatisation, Project, Main Trek and Rest & Relaxation.
The challenge for the pupils begins from registration where they have around 20 months to fundraise the money themselves. Support, encouragement and advice is given by School Leaders and their team mates. While in country the challenge continues as they allocate themselves various roles within the team from day Leader to accountant and everything in between. All aspects are their responsibility with advice and support given to them by their School Leaders and expedition Leader. This truly helps make the experience unique and most enjoyable.
World Challenge shapes and develops young people like no other activity offered in schools. The experience builds on their teamwork, communication and organisation as well as their resilience and determination. All that in the most stunning settings and special cultures makes World Challenge a once in a life time experience.
